I can’t believe the Trib just happened to write an article today about custard places in the Pittsburgh area. This isn’t your average soft serve ice cream we’re talking about. This is homemade custard! It’s thicker and creamier and just all around blows soft serve out of the water. I had no idea this kind of custard originated in the Midwest. No matter where it originated, I’m glad it found its way out east to Pittsburgh.
There are 6 places on this list. I’ve been to one of them. My new summer goal is to visit the other 5 by the end of August. Stay tuned…
